Job Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of accountants to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review and approve financial statements and supporting schedules
- Prepare and support management reports and financial dashboards
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties (auditors, clients)
- Act as escalation point for accounting and reporting issues
- Support audit preparation and handle ad hoc accounting tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of BPO accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
- Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure
