Subject Matter Engineer (SQL)

We are seeking a technically-minded Subject Matter Engineer to join our Back Office Operations. This role sits at the intersection of automotive data and technical systems. You will be responsible for the precise mapping and integration of vehicle fitment data, ensuring that automotive parts and aftermarket products are accurately categorized and accessible across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Mapping: Perform fitment mapping of automotive parts data and aftermarket products according to industry standards.
  • Technical Integration: Conduct vehicle data gathering using Vehicle ID cross-overs and interchanges between various internal and external systems.
  • Database Management: Facilitate product fitment data entry and ensure seamless integration of auto parts information.
  • Client Support: Assist customers in transcribing technical data, standards, and complex procedures into actionable formats.
  • System Alignment: Adapt and input product data information into specific customer templates and platforms.

Job Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software, or Data), IT, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency and extensive experience with SQL coding is required.
  • Software Skills: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.
  • Automotive Interest: A genuine interest in automobiles, including motorcycles, passenger cars, agricultural machinery, or heavy-duty equipment.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills are essential for client coordination.
  • Soft Skills: Phenomenal problem-solving abilities, great intuition, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
